How to cancel your Noom subscription

First, find out where you signed up

Like most app subscriptions, how you cancel Noom depends on who bills you. Noom can only cancel subscriptions billed by Noom directly. If you subscribed inside the iOS or Android app, Apple or Google bills you — and only they can cancel it.

• Billed by Noom: you signed up on noom.com (typically via the quiz flow), and your card statement shows a charge from Noom.
• Billed by Apple: you subscribed in the app on an iPhone or iPad; receipts come from Apple.
• Billed by Google: you subscribed in the app on Android; receipts come from Google Play.

How to cancel in the Noom app

If Noom bills you directly, the app path is fastest:

• Open the Noom app and tap your profile picture in the top-left corner.
• Tap Settings, then Manage Subscription.

How to cancel on the web (Subscription Portal)

Noom's web path works even if you no longer have the app installed:

• Sign in to the Subscription Portal at account.noom.com using your Noom login (you can reset your password from the login page).

How to cancel if Apple or Google bills you

App-store subscriptions follow the store's process, not Noom's:

• iPhone/iPad: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Noom → Cancel Subscription.
• Android: Google Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Noom → Cancel subscription.
• Refund requests for app-store-billed plans go to Apple or Google under their policies — Noom states it cannot cancel or refund these on its end.

Cancelling Noom Med: the prescription changes the refund math

If you are on a Noom Med program (GLP-1Rx, Microdose, Proactive Health, or Telehealth for Branded Meds), the cancellation path is the same — app or Subscription Portal — but the refund rules are stricter, per Noom's published refund policy:

• Medication-included programs: no refunds are available once a prescription has been written. If you are having second thoughts, act before your clinical evaluation completes.
• Telehealth for Branded Meds: refunds may be available within 7 days of your first charge, unless a clinical visit has already occurred.
• Instead of cancelling outright, Noom lets you switch from Noom Med down to Noom Weight (in the portal or via support) — useful if you want to keep the behavioral program without the clinical fees.
• If you are switching to another GLP-1 provider, get your current medication name and dose from your Noom care team first so your next provider can handle the transition clinically.

Refunds, renewals, and billing dates — what to watch for

The rules that trip people up, straight from Noom's published policies:

• Noom plans auto-renew for another full term. A 12-month plan renews at the full term price unless you cancel before the renewal date — and Noom is explicit that renewal charges are not eligible for refunds.
• The refund window on initial Noom Weight charges is 14 days from the first charge, requested via the chat bubble on Noom's support pages or their contact form.
• Cancelling is not retroactive: you keep full access until the end of the period you already paid for.
• Uninstalling the app does not cancel anything — Noom's own FAQ calls this out. You will keep being charged until you cancel through one of the real paths.

Verify it, don't assume it. Check for the cancellation confirmation email from Noom (or Apple/Google if they bill you). Does uninstalling the app cancel my subscription? No — Noom's own FAQ is explicit that uninstalling does not cancel, and billing continues until you cancel in the app, the Subscription Portal, or your app store.

Will I lose access immediately when I cancel? No. Your subscription stays active until the end of the billing cycle you already paid for.

Can I get a refund? For Noom Weight, initial charges may be refundable within 14 days of purchase (request via the chat bubble or contact form). Renewal charges are never refundable. For Noom Med, refunds end once a prescription has been written; the branded-meds tier allows 7 days unless a clinical visit occurred.

Can I pause or downgrade instead of cancelling? Noom Med subscribers can switch down to Noom Weight in the Subscription Portal or via support, keeping the behavioral program without clinical fees. Noom Weight plan lengths can also be changed from the portal.

I cancelled but was charged anyway — what now? First confirm who bills you (Noom, Apple, or Google), then contact that company with your cancellation confirmation.
