What is Cora Health?

Cora Health is a US-based telehealth company that provides GLP-1 receptor agonist medications for weight loss, including compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide, through licensed healthcare providers. Patients complete an online health assessment, receive a provider review, usually within 24 hours, and get their medication shipped directly to their door from a US-licensed pharmacy. Plans start at $99 per month on the annual Essential plan (compounded semaglutide, $1,188 billed every 12 months and renewing until you cancel) and $135 per month on the annual Premium plan (compounded tirzepatide, $1,620 every 12 months). Month-to-month is $175 and $225. No hidden fees.

Why Cora Health exists

GLP-1 medications like semaglutide and tirzepatide have changed weight loss treatment. The STEP 1 trial of branded semaglutide reported an average of 14.9% body weight loss at 68 weeks; the SURMOUNT-1 trial of branded tirzepatide reported an average of 22.5% at 72 weeks (15mg dose). Individual results vary and compounded formulations have not been independently evaluated in clinical trials. Brand-name products cost $1,000 or more per month, putting them out of reach for most people.
