How to cancel your WeightWatchers membership

First, find out where you signed up

How to cancel WeightWatchers on the web

If you subscribed at weightwatchers.com, this is the fastest route. WeightWatchers says online cancellations are processed right away.

• Go to weightwatchers.com and sign in to your account, or go directly to weightwatchers.com/us/cancellation.
• Open your account settings: click the Profile icon at the top of the My Day dashboard, scroll to Settings, then select Account. For your security, WW will ask you to log in again.
• Find your membership status and select the option to cancel your plan, then follow the on-screen prompts to confirm.

How to cancel if you subscribed through Apple (iPhone or iPad)

If your WW subscription is billed by Apple, you cancel it in your Apple subscription settings — not through WeightWatchers.

Refunds, billing dates, and commitment plans — what to watch for

A few things trip people up when leaving WeightWatchers:

• Cancelling is not retroactive. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and WW does not typically refund the current period.
• Cancel before your next billing date. WW auto-renews and bills until you cancel, so cancel a few days ahead of your renewal date to avoid one more charge.
• Prepaid and commitment plans may run to term. If you signed up for a multi-month commitment or prepaid plan, you may be billed through the end of that commitment.
