How to cancel your Mochi Health membership

How to cancel a Mochi Health membership in 2026: select "cancel subscription" in your Mochi account or call (619) 648-1247 — per Mochi's own terms, email is NOT a valid cancellation channel. Why cancellation takes effect at the end of your current term with no mid-term refund, how the separate medication subscription works, and the refill deadline that decides whether one more shipment bills.

Quick answer

To cancel Mochi Health, log into your Mochi account and select "cancel subscription," or call (619) 648-1247 and request the cancellation by phone — those are the only two channels Mochi's terms accept, and emailing hello@joinmochi.com is explicitly NOT a valid way to cancel. Two structural things to understand: your membership and your medication subscription are separate. Membership cancellation takes effect at the end of the current subscription term — you keep access until then, there is no mid-term refund, and the account then reverts to a free membership (so on a 3, 6, or 12-month term, cancelling early does not recover the remaining months). The medication subscription can be cancelled or modified any time before a refill request is sent to the pharmacy, via Modify on the medication page — after that, the shipment proceeds, and Mochi's policy is that all prescription sales are final.

Two subscriptions, two cancellations

Mochi's structure is different from most GLP-1 telehealth providers, and it is the main thing to get right when leaving. You have a paid membership (the clinical service — provider visits, dietitian access, support; $79/month, or discounted 3, 6, and 12-month terms) and, if prescribed, a separate medication subscription (the recurring refills — Mochi publishes $99/month for compounded semaglutide and $199/month for compounded tirzepatide, billed on top of membership). Per Mochi's terms, cancelling the paid membership automatically cancels medication subscriptions that require an active membership — but the reverse is not true, and each has its own timing rules, covered below.

How to cancel the membership: account or phone only

Mochi's terms are unusually explicit about which channels count:

  • Valid: logging into your Mochi account and selecting "cancel subscription."
  • Valid: calling (619) 648-1247 and requesting cancellation over the phone (support is 24/7).
  • NOT valid: email. Mochi's terms state that requests sent to hello@joinmochi.com or through any other unlisted method "will NOT be considered valid requests to cancel." If you emailed and assumed you were done, you are probably still subscribed.

The term-end rule: no mid-term refunds

Membership cancellation takes effect at the end of the current subscription term. You keep full access until then, the membership simply does not renew, and your account reverts to Mochi's free tier. There is no published mid-term refund for the unused remainder of a term — which makes term length a real decision at sign-up: the 12-month membership ($799) is cheaper per month than monthly ($79), but cancelling in month 4 does not recover the other 8 months. If you are unsure how long you will stay, the monthly term is the safer structure despite the higher rate.

The medication subscription: the refill deadline is the whole game

The medication subscription continues billing until cancelled — by you, or by Mochi, the pharmacy, or your provider. Your window to act is any time before a refill request is sent to the pharmacy for fulfillment, using Modify on the medication page. After that point, the shipment proceeds, and Mochi's refund policy is blunt: prescription medications cannot be returned or refunded, so all prescription sales are final. If your next refill date is close, handle the medication subscription first, then the membership. One more wrinkle from the terms: if you cancel a medication subscription and later re-subscribe, the medication fee is not guaranteed to be the same.

How to confirm your cancellation actually went through

Because membership cancellation takes effect at term end, the confirmation you want is forward-looking: your account should show the membership set not to renew (and eventually reverting to free), and the medication page should show no upcoming refill. Screenshot both. Then watch your card statement past the term-end date — that is the moment a failed cancellation would show up as a renewal charge. If you cancelled by phone, note the date, time, and agent name; Mochi's terms make the phone request valid, and your notes are the evidence it happened.

Leaving Mochi? What to consider next

People leave Mochi over the two-part cost structure (membership plus medication adds up to roughly $178/month for compounded semaglutide or $278/month for compounded tirzepatide at monthly rates), over wanting a simpler flat price, or simply because their goals changed. If you are staying on treatment, get your current medication and dose from your records before your portal access reverts. (For a side-by-side comparison, see our Cora Health vs Mochi Health comparison.)

A few honest things to know if you are comparing compounded GLP-1 providers:

  • Compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide are prepared by US-licensed 503A compounding pharmacies. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and are not therapeutically equivalent to brand-name products like Wegovy® or Zepbound®. That applies to Mochi, Cora, and every compounded-GLP-1 provider.
  • A licensed provider — not the platform — decides whether medication is clinically appropriate for you. Cora does not prescribe; it connects patients with licensed providers, and if you are mid-treatment, tell the provider your current dose so the transition is handled clinically.
  • In the STEP 1 trial, FDA-approved branded semaglutide produced about 14.9% average weight loss over 68 weeks; in SURMOUNT-1, FDA-approved branded tirzepatide produced about 22.5% over 72 weeks. Those figures come from trials of the branded products, not compounded versions. Individual results vary.
  • Compare the total, all-inclusive price — not just a headline number. Cora's plans are all-in: $99/month for compounded semaglutide and $135/month for compounded tirzepatide on annual plans, with provider care, fulfillment by named US-licensed 503A pharmacies (Hallandale Pharmacy + VialsRx), and shipping included — no separate membership fee stacked on the medication.
  • Whatever you choose, pick a provider with transparent pricing and a clear, self-serve way to cancel — so you are not back here running another "how to cancel" search in six months.

Mochi Health cancellation FAQ

Can I cancel Mochi by email? No — Mochi's terms explicitly state email is not a valid cancellation channel. Use the in-account cancel subscription option or call (619) 648-1247.

Do I get a refund for the rest of my term? No published mid-term refund exists. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current term; you keep access until then.

Does cancelling my membership stop my medication? Per Mochi's terms, cancelling the paid membership automatically cancels medication subscriptions that require an active membership. But if a refill request has already gone to the pharmacy, that shipment bills and prescription sales are final — check the medication page first.

Can I come back later? Yes, but two caveats from Mochi's terms: your account reverts to a free membership in the meantime, and a re-subscribed medication fee may differ from what you paid before.

Is there a cancellation fee? No fee as such — the cost of cancelling is the unrefunded remainder of a multi-month term, which is why term length matters at sign-up.
