How to cancel your Calibrate membership
Calibrate does not have a one-click cancel button in the app — you cancel by emailing their membership team, and timing matters because of the 7-day notice rule.
- Email hello@joincalibrate.com from the address on your account, with a clear subject line such as "Cancellation Request".
- State that you want to cancel your Calibrate membership, and include your name and account details.
- Send it at least 7 calendar days before your next billing date — Calibrate requires 7 days notice.
- Wait for Calibrate to confirm your effective cancellation date and whether you qualify for any refund.
- Keep the email thread as proof of when you requested cancellation.
Refunds, the Initial Term, and timing — what to watch for
Calibrate's billing has specific rules worth knowing before you cancel:
- 7 days notice required. You must notify Calibrate at least 7 calendar days before your next billing cycle.
- Initial Term commitment. Cancellation takes effect on the next billing date after your Initial Term ends — if you are still inside a commitment period, you may be billed through it.
- Mostly non-refundable. Membership fees are non-refundable except a full refund if you cancel within 72 hours of your initial purchase.
- Results Money Back Promise. If you do not lose at least 10% of your body weight after 12 consecutive months and you meet the criteria, you may request 50% of the total amount paid back (conditions apply; it does not apply to all member types).
- Employer sign-ups differ. If you joined through an employer, Calibrate's standard cancellation policy may not apply — check with your plan.
How to confirm your cancellation
Because Calibrate cancellation is email-based, your proof is the email trail. Keep your cancellation request and Calibrate's confirmation reply, which should state your effective end date. Watch your card statement on your next billing date to confirm no new charge appears. If you were charged after requesting cancellation within the 7-day notice window, reply to the same thread with your original timestamp.
Thinking about what comes after Calibrate?
People leave Calibrate for different reasons — cost, the commitment structure, or wanting a simpler month-to-month option. If you are weighing your next step, here is a neutral primer. (For a side-by-side on cost and program structure, see our Cora Health vs Calibrate comparison.)
A few honest things to know if you are considering compounded GLP-1 medication:
- Compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide are prepared by US-licensed 503A compounding pharmacies. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and are not therapeutically equivalent to brand-name products like Wegovy® or Zepbound®.
- A licensed provider — not the platform — decides whether medication is clinically appropriate for you. Cora does not prescribe; it connects patients with licensed providers.
- In the STEP 1 trial, FDA-approved branded semaglutide produced about 14.9% average weight loss over 68 weeks; in SURMOUNT-1, FDA-approved branded tirzepatide produced about 22.5% over 72 weeks. Those figures come from trials of the branded products, not compounded versions. Individual results vary.
- Compare the total, all-inclusive price — not just a headline number. Cora's plans start at $99/month for compounded semaglutide and $135/month for compounded tirzepatide on annual plans, with provider care, US-licensed pharmacy fulfillment, and shipping included and no separate membership fee.
- Whatever you choose, pick a provider with transparent pricing and a clear, self-serve way to cancel — so you are not back here running another "how to cancel" search in six months.
