How much does compounded tirzepatide cost?
Cora Health's Premium Plan offers compounded tirzepatide at $199/month, which includes provider consultation, pharmacy fulfillment, and free shipping. Brand-name tirzepatide (Mounjaro/Zepbound) costs $1,000+ per month without insurance. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and are not therapeutically equivalent to FDA-approved products.
Is tirzepatide better than semaglutide for weight loss?
In clinical trials, tirzepatide (a dual GLP-1/GIP agonist) produced higher average weight loss than semaglutide (a GLP-1 agonist alone). The SURMOUNT-1 trial showed up to 22.5% weight loss with tirzepatide versus 14.9% in the STEP 1 semaglutide trial.
